ZEROHOUR was heavily involved Sydney’s illegal rave scene and the cities club circuit since the late ’90s, and became a label in 2011 with the release of HOUR-1.
In 2025, after relocating to Berlin, Luster joined with Amsterdam-based HzOGH to relaunch the label. The two artists share a mutual love for dark, heavy and experimental sounds, from early rave and hardcore techno sounds through to electro, heavy psych, sludge and doom. These influences are reflected in the stranger sounds of ZEROHOUR, and the warehouse dancefloor focused approach of new label BELOW ZERO.
